As students across GCCS began a new school year, they were reminded that their community is here to support them.
Through a generous donation from KC Current and United Way, students across all GCCS schools had access to backpacks and school supplies to help them feel prepared and ready for the new school year.
While a backpack may seem like a small gesture, having the supplies needed for school can help students feel more prepared and confident as they step into the classroom.
More importantly, moments like these remind our students that they belong to a community that cares about them and wants to see them succeed. Small acts of support can make a meaningful difference and help create a positive start to the school year.
We are grateful to KC Current and United Way for supporting our Aztecs and helping make sure our students feel prepared, supported, and ready for a successful school year.
