As part of the Hispanic Development Fund Scholarship, we are proud to highlight 1 of the 38 students who represent the perseverance, ambition, and commitment to the future that we see across our student community. Danae is a powerful example of what it means to move forward with purpose and dedication.
After graduation, Danae plans to complete an automotive program while earning her certification, as well as begin an associate’s degree in paralegal studies. She then hopes to transfer to a four-year university to pursue a bachelor’s degree in political science, with the long-term goal of becoming a lawyer.
Danae is most passionate about advocating for others and ensuring people have someone who will stand up for them. “I want to pursue a career in law because I believe everyone deserves to be heard."
Throughout her academic journey, Danae has overcome the challenge of learning independence at a young age. These experiences have strengthened her discipline, resilience, and determination to stay focused on her goals, even when faced with obstacles.
Looking ahead, Danae hopes to make a meaningful impact in her community by advocating for others and helping people understand their rights. Through a future career in law, she strives to be a voice for fairness, support, and justice.
