In our first trimester, GCMS students participated in a workshop with the talented musicians of Mariachi Azteca de América. The event gave students the opportunity to receive expert guidance while experiencing the joy and energy of authentic Mariachi music.
Throughout the workshop, students were encouraged to move beyond simply playing the right notes. They learned that true musicianship comes from expressing emotion, not just mastering technique.
