Last night, our incredible GCMS Band enjoyed a magical and inspiring after-school trip—filled with learning, laughter, and a whole lot of holiday spirit! 🎺❄️
Before heading to the Kansas City Rep, our students participated in a special dinner with local business professionals, community leaders, and lawyers. It was more than just a meal… it was a chance for our students to connect, ask meaningful questions, and hear real stories about perseverance, education, and success.
Our band students asked thoughtful questions like:
✨ “What was the most important decision you made in high school?”
✨ “How did you know what career path to follow?”
✨ “What advice would you give your middle-school self?”
The conversations were powerful, encouraging, and truly eye-opening. Our students walked away inspired—and reminded that their dreams are absolutely within reach. 🌟
After dinner, they headed to the Kansas City Repertory Theatre, where they enjoyed a festive performance along with hot chocolate and delicious cookies. The perfect cozy treat to wrap up a meaningful evening! 🍪☕️✨

Anoche, nuestro increíble GCMS Band disfrutó de un viaje después de clases lleno de magia, inspiración ¡y mucho espíritu navideño! 🎺❄️
Antes de dirigirse al Kansas City Rep, nuestros estudiantes participaron en una cena especial con profesionales de negocios, líderes comunitarios y abogados. No fue solo una comida… fue una oportunidad para conectar, hacer preguntas importantes y escuchar historias reales sobre perseverancia, educación y éxito.
Nuestros estudiantes hicieron preguntas muy reflexivas como:
✨ “¿Cuál fue la decisión más importante que tomaste en la preparatoria?”
✨ “¿Cómo supiste qué carrera seguir?”
✨ “¿Qué consejo le darías a tu yo de secundaria?”
Las conversaciones fueron poderosas, motivadoras y verdaderamente inspiradoras. Nuestros estudiantes salieron con nuevas ideas y recordando que sus sueños ¡sí son alcanzables! 🌟
