Aztec families! Check out this new program coming in March! Our schools social worker will be hosting classes that will help teach parents different ways to support their students and help them excel academically. The dates for these classes are: 40 Assets of parenting Presenter First Call: 3/13/25 Second class: 4/10/25 Third class: 5/8/25 Classes start at 5:30 -7 pm Light dinner served Workshop to be provided in English and Spanish. Aztec families! The high school and middle school will be collaborating for PTO this Wednesday at 5:30 PM, for a virtual session with Mrs. Baird from GCHS. Mrs. Baird will be talking about the "Grow Your Own" program in which she will discuss classes that may count for college credit. 8th grade parents, this will be important information for students who will be starting high school this upcoming fall semester! Thank you to Officer Samantha with KCPD DARE for visiting some of our 8th-grade classes this week. She highlighted the dangers of vaping and drug use, encouraged students to stay aware, and empowered them to make smart, healthy choices. She also made meaningful connections and took the time to answer many of their questions.

Before Thanksgiving break, students in Mrs. Duff's English Language Development class worked with Schoolyard Gardens to build three new garden beds at the front of our Middle School. As part of a real-world learning project, these garden beds will be full of vegetables come spring! Antes de las vacaciones de Acción de Gracias, los estudiantes de la clase de Desarrollo del Idioma Inglés de la Sra. Duff trabajaron con Schoolyard Gardens para construir tres nuevos parterres en el frente de nuestra escuela secundaria.
