Are you or someone in your family thinking about a future in education? This event will provide a welcoming and informative space to explore what it takes to earn a college degree in education. You'll hear from a panel of university staff and then have the chance to connect with them directly during our networking hour. Interpretation will be available, and a light dinner will be provided to make sure everyone feels included. Aztec Families, We kindly invite you to participate in our upcoming Food and Clothing Drive, taking place next Wednesday at 4:00 PM. We are currently collecting gently used school uniforms and non-perishable food items, such as canned goods and boxed food products, to support members of our school community. This event is open to all middle school families, including those who may benefit from the donations. Whether you are contributing items or would like to attend and receive support, we welcome your presence and participation. If you are interested in donating, please review the list of suggested items below. Donations can be dropped off at the school prior to the event or brought directly to the drive on the day of. For any questions or additional information, feel free to contact Ms. Yuman at the front office. 🌟 This morning, our 8th graders had an incredible opportunity to interact with over 20 amazing career professionals! 🌟 Students explored a wide variety of career paths and discovered just how many exciting possibilities their futures can hold. From scientists and healthcare workers to engineers, animal shelter staff, KCFD, and more—our guest speakers shared real-world insight, inspiration, advice, and answered student's questions. A huge THANK YOU to PrepKC and all the volunteers who took the time to invest in our students. You’re helping shape the future, one conversation at a time! 👏💼✨

Our book club is collecting new and gently used books for the Guadalupe Centers Elementary School Library, which is in need of fresh reads for K-5 students! Our middle school welcomed our incoming 5th grade students today to tour the middle school! The students were able to hear a presentation and ask questions about the upcoming school year! The students were also able to hear our middle schools Mariachi band and learn more about electives! 🎉 Our Students Shine at the Greater KC Science & Engineering Fair! 🏅🔬 We are beyond proud of our students who recently competed in the 74th Greater Kansas City Science and Engineering Fair! Out of 387 projects, all three of our student groups received academic ribbon awards! 🏆 🏅 Two groups earned Gold and Silver Ribbons for their outstanding work in scientific research and innovation. 🌟 One of our Gold Ribbon recipients also received the prestigious Blue Ribbon, marking their project as one of the best in its category and earning them a spot at the Missouri State Competition! 🎊 👏 Huge congratulations to these hardworking students! 🚀✨ #ScienceFair #ProudSchool #FutureScientists 🎉 ¡Nuestros Estudiantes Brillan en la Feria de Ciencia e Ingeniería de Greater KC! 🏅🔬 ¡Estamos increíblemente orgullosos de nuestros estudiantes que recientemente compitieron en la 74ª Feria de Ciencia e Ingeniería de Greater Kansas City! We’re excited to announce our Spring Break Reading Challenge! From Friday, March 21, to Sunday, March 30, every 10 minutes your child reads earns them an entry into a Chick-fil-A party raffle. When we return from break, we’ll draw 20 winners to celebrate their reading success! Your encouragement makes a big difference! 📚✨ Our Family and Community Engagement Coordinators and High School Social Worker recently attended an inspiring cohort meeting that brought together school pantries to share valuable knowledge and strengthen their programs. A huge thank you to School Smart KC for introducing Spark Wheel as the new partner overseeing school pantries, alongside Harvesters. Together, they’re helping us create a stronger support system for our students and families! 💪🧑‍🤝‍🧑

Last Friday, we celebrated the incredible writers of our Letters of Love and Letting Go competition! 💌 Our students poured their hearts onto the page, crafting thoughtful and powerful letters that showcased their creativity and growth as writers in English and Spanish! A huge THANK YOU to @DonutologyKC for providing delicious donuts to make the celebration even sweeter! 🍩✨ Your support made this event extra special.
