📚 Important Attendance Policy Update 📚
Please be aware of our updated attendance policy:
✅ All Absences
-Parents will receive automated texts (English & Spanish) when a student is absent.
-Students will be withdrawn after 10 total absences.
-If applicable, doctor’s notes must be submitted within 3 business days to excuse the absence.
⚠️ 6 Absences
-School staff will reach out to check for extenuating circumstances.
-A meeting may be scheduled with the FACE coordinator or Social Worker.
-A Letter of Concern will be sent reminding parents of the 10-absence withdrawal rule.
🚨 8 Absences
-Parents will get a courtesy call from the FACE coordinator or Social Worker.
-A final warning: withdrawal occurs at 10 unexcused absences.
❌ 10+ Absences
-Students are withdrawn unless extenuating circumstances are reported.
-Withdrawal letters are sent by certified mail.
💡 Reminder: Doctor’s notes must be submitted within 3 business days of the absence to be counted as excused.
