Over the past few weeks, they’ve been learning about the unique elements, characters, and settings that make fairy tales and tall tales so magical. Today, they brought their learning to life — and even had some Tall Tale characters stop by with pancakes! 🥞

Today 4th students explored their senses in a fun and tasty way! 🌟 As part of their writing activity on sensory experiences, they tried two new foods together: seaweed snacks and water chestnuts. 🥢🌊🥬
Students described how each food looked, smelled, felt, tasted, and even sounded. It was a hands-on (and delicious!) way to spark creativity and build descriptive writing skills. ✍️✨
