🎨✏️ We had an amazing time Thursday hosting award-winning author and illustrator Pedro Martin for a special zine workshop! A dozen of our talented middle school artists had the chance to flex their creative muscles—designing, doodling, and dreaming up their own zines. Thank you, Pedro, for inspiring our students and showing them the power of storytelling through art. What a memorable experience! 💬📚✨

Aztec families, We will be having a food and clothing drive this Wednesday from 4-5 PM. We are taking donations in both clothing and canned foods. If you are not able to donate and would like to receive, please feel free to drop by! The food and clothing drive will be held on the basketball court on the side of the school. We hope to see you there!

Are you or someone in your family thinking about a future in education? This event will provide a welcoming and informative space to explore what it takes to earn a college degree in education. You'll hear from a panel of university staff and then have the chance to connect with them directly during our networking hour. Interpretation will be available, and a light dinner will be provided to make sure everyone feels included. We are currently collecting gently used school uniforms and non-perishable food items, such as canned goods and boxed food products, to support members of our school community. This event is open to all middle school families, including those who may benefit from the donations. Whether you are contributing items or would like to attend and receive support, we welcome your presence and participation. If you are interested in donating, please review the list of suggested items below. Donations can be dropped off at the school prior to the event or brought directly to the drive on the day of. Here's to day one of our Teacher Appreciation week! Today's suprise was: pan dulce and coffee😋 ☕️ Thank you to all teachers for their amazing work and dedication to our students! We appreciate you!!!

🌟 This morning, our 8th graders had an incredible opportunity to interact with over 20 amazing career professionals! 🌟 Students explored a wide variety of career paths and discovered just how many exciting possibilities their futures can hold. From scientists and healthcare workers to engineers, animal shelter staff, KCFD, and more—our guest speakers shared real-world insight, inspiration, advice, and answered student's questions. A huge THANK YOU to PrepKC and all the volunteers who took the time to invest in our students. You’re helping shape the future, one conversation at a time! 👏💼✨
