Show your AZTEC spirit while helping raise funds for student activities and events! Each day will have a special theme and fun challenge — so dress up, join in, and support our GCMS community! 💪💛

📅 Week of November 17–21
👕 Dressed in Theme = FREE
💵 Casual Dress Down (not in theme) = $1
Students will receive an armband for the day. Students without armbands must follow dress code.

✨ Some funds will be used to adopt three GCMS families this holiday season.

Monday: Favorite Color Day 🎨
Tuesday: Animated Character Day 🎬
Wednesday: Twin Day 👯‍♀️
Thursday: Sports Day 🏀⚽🏈

Los estudiantes recibirán una pulsera para el día. Los que no la tengan deberán seguir el código de vestimenta.

✨ Parte de los fondos se usará para adoptar a tres familias de GCMS esta temporada.

We’re celebrating students who show up and shine! 🌟
All students who maintain 90% or higher attendance from August 13th to December 19th will be automatically entered into a drawing to win a $100 ALDI gift card! 🛒💳
📅 Winners will be announced the morning of December 19th, and gift cards should be picked up that same day from the front office.
👏 Don’t worry if you miss this round — we’ll have another drawing next semester!

📜✨ This past Saturday, Mr. Minnis led a wonderful Poetry Workshop where over 20 students came together to learn about, reflect on, and write their own poems! 💬🖋️
It was inspiring to see so many young voices expressing themselves through poetry. 💛

What a spooktacular morning! We celebrated our talented student writers with a special breakfast honoring the finalists of our Haunting Hook Writing Showcase. 🖋️✨ Their creativity, imagination, and spooky storytelling skills truly blew us away!
👏 A huge congratulations to our 25 finalists and 8 winners from across the school — you made us so proud!

for donating 3 boxes of their Halloween mini donuts for our young authors to enjoy. Your delicious treats made the morning even more magical! 💛
