Yesterday, students in Ms. Adreani's high school FLS class had the opportunity to host @mckelleykc , the Policy Director of @bikewalkkc ! 🚴‍♂️✨ As part of the class focus on teen driving and road safety in Kansas City, Michael shared insights about his work advocating for safer road designs that benefit drivers, pedestrians, and cyclists alike in Kansas City. With our city facing high rates of traffic violence and accidents, his expertise is more important than ever. Our students asked fantastic questions, learned how they can share concerns with public officials, and even got to check out his e-bike! Thank you, Michael, for inspiring our students to think critically about transportation safety in our community!

Every year during Hispanic Heritage Month, Guadalupe Centers High School, in partnership with the Hispanic Development Fund (HDF), participates in the scholarship fundraiser, Cambio para Cambio. From now until October 31st, every cent donated will be matched 100% by generous HDF Scholarship donors, doubling the impact of our collective giving power.
