Our 6th grade students in Mrs. Ahmad’s Coding class have been bringing their ideas to life through exciting, interactive games. Dylan Sierra is a standout example of how creativity, problem solving, and persistence come together in the classroom. He completed his game and even added both an Easy and Hard mode, making the hard mode a real challenge for players.

Through this project, Dylan applied critical thinking, attention to detail, and collaborative problem-solving to design a game that was both engaging and functional. Projects like this give students the chance to experiment, learn from mistakes, and explore new ways of approaching challenges all skills that extend far beyond the classroom.

For teachers and staff, seeing students like Dylan develop confidence, creativity, and technical skills is a reminder of the talent and determination that make our Aztec community so strong. Coding projects like this help students grow not only academically but as innovative, capable thinkers ready to take on any challenge.

Congratulations to Dylan and all of our coding students for embracing the challenge, exploring their creativity. Let’s go, Aztecs!
