Students in the High School Impact Academy class recently completed a hands-on design project in collaboration with Streamline Graphics, creating a custom van wrap for our Transportation Department. The project provided a unique opportunity for students to translate their creativity into a professional, real-world application that represents the school community.
Throughout the process, students exercised critical thinking, project planning, and collaboration. They carefully considered design with longevity in mind, so it will look great for many years, stakeholder perspectives, and the school’s brand identity, while organizing and presenting ideas to ensure the final product met professional standards.
This experience allowed students to develop practical skills in design, communication, and problem-solving, extending learning beyond the classroom. For faculty and staff, witnessing students apply these skills in a tangible, community-facing project is a testament to their talent, initiative, and readiness to take on real-world challenges.
The completed van wrap stands as a lasting representation of the students’ creativity and dedication, highlighting the impact of hands-on learning experiences at our school!
